Deepshikha Prasad

Deepshikha started her PhD in September 2022 at Heriot-Watt University. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Loreto College, Kolkata (India), and her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at University of Calcutta (India), with her thesis focusing on social cognition. During her Research Master's degree at Radboud University (The Netherlands), she studied social anxiety and avoidance behaviours.

During her PhD, she will be working with Mel McKendrick, Louise Delicato, and Thusha Rajendran, to uncover the patterns of processing facial emotional expressions in people with social anxiety and autism.
