Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) involves interaction between the participant, a horse(s), therapist and an equine expert. In this project EAP does not involve riding. The aims of the project are to assess whether, and in what ways the mental health and well-being of veterans can be improved through Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.

This project was funded by the Health and Wellbeing Beacon, Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing, University of Sunderland.
